Hello, lovelies! I wanted to share with you a site that I’ve recently joined and have become a big fan of…

BeauCoo is a body-positive style network where you can share your most recent fashion finds and steal style tips from like-minded ladies. You can browse a gallery of self-submitted photos and check out what other stylish chickies are wearing and where you might be able to snag it. My favorite part of BeauCoo? They take my (confidential ;)) body measurements and show me gals with similar body types so I can really see how a garment would look on my body. When you upload an outfit, you can describe each item and share comments so that others can learn about the fit of the garment.

So BeauCoo basically lets you find clothes that fit and flatter your body type, without even having to try on pieces. And when I see a piece that looks great on someone with a body similar to mine, I know it’ll be flattering on me too. Take for example the pencil skirt in the above photo. I found it when I was exploring BeauCoo’s Fit Match section, and added it to my favorites. The following week, I was running a quick errand at Target (I was there to pick up a bookshelf, but clearly I got sucked in to the clothes section) and I saw a similar skirt with side paneling. I tried it on and lo and behold, it looked fantastic. Outfit post with my new skirt coming soon!

Another reason to love BeauCoo? The community and body positivity. One of my favorite things about blogging is the community. The friends I’ve made and the talented people I’ve met from blogging make everything so much more fun! And as my blog has evolved, so has my style. It’s really helped me learn how to dress for my small waist, curvaceous hips, hourglass of a body. I don’t have a bod that everything looks good on (boxy crop tops, get away from me), but I do have a bod that when dressed with the right silhouettes, can look pretty great (if I do say so myself). So it’s really fun for me to be able to share outfits I’ve found to be really flattering on me with other gals that have similar dimensions, and likewise, to find inspiration from what other chicks with my body type have found to look great on them.
