Happy (almost) New Year everyone!! I wore this outfit while Omied and I were running some pre-New Years festivities errands in downtown. This winter, there were two items I was looking to add to my wardrobe: Grey over-the-knee boots and a big, cozy wool cape. I was super excited when I finally found these Steve Madden boots online—they'd been out of stock in grey everywhere I looked, probably because they are such a great price point for OTK boots. The oversized cape look was something I'd been wanting to try, but they're not the most flattering of pieces. They tend to make you look larger than you are, which looks cute on tiny chicks but not so much on me. Once I added a belt to this cape though, I really liked the result. Still cozy and oversized, but chic and flattering for my hourglass figure.

For this makeup look, I used EcoTools' Four-Piece Beautiful Collection Set (the medium brush was perfect for some contouring, while the big fluffy brush was great for adding a dusting if highlighter). You can win this collection too! I'll be hosting a giveaway for a set on my Instagram, so keep your eyes peeled for that.

South of France

Dec 29, 2015

Last week I shared photos from the Paris leg of our honeymoon, and today I'm happy to share some snaps from Nice and the South of France. Between the sweeping views from our Airbnb's balcony, the beautiful little towns we visited, and the thirteen course meal we had at Mirazur (best meal of my life!), we totally fell in love with this beautiful pocket of the world.

Paris

Today I'm finally sharing some photos from our honeymoon in France! We took over 3,000 pictures during our three week trip, so it took a little while to sort through them. It's a long post, and it was so hard to narrow down the photos, since every little street you turn onto is so charming and beautiful. We miss this beautiful city every day! Today's post features photos we took in Paris, and I'll be sharing another travel post with shots from the South of France as well.
