I'm back in SF after a great vacay in Kauai (lots of pics on Instagram, @wtfab) and I can't wait to go through all our pics and write up a travel guide to share on the blog! I've been traveling a lot this month (but what else is new) and it's always so hard (read: impossible) for me to keep up my usual healthy diet when I'm traveling. I needed a little detox to get my mind right before summer! Fortunately, Project Juice came to the rescue. I did their two day Rejuvenation Cleanse and loved it. As Project Juice describes it, it's their "cushiest cleanse," which means I felt pretty satisfied for those two days. Besides juices and a couple detox shots and tea, the cleanse includes a couple of vegan soups and nuts/goji berries as well. To be honest when I'm doing a cleanse the thing I miss the most is the satisfaction of chewing and swallowing (sounds weird but if you've done a juice cleanse too you probably know what I mean!), so having something to munch on really helped with that. The cleanse was pretty easy and to make it even more convenient, the juices were delivered right to my doorstep in SF. While I did lose a few pounds doing the cleanse, I did it more to reset my cravings and kickstart some healthy eating as I get ready for another tropical vacation coming up in June!

Scotland Travel Video

May 25, 2017

While I was in the UK I did a long weekend trip to Scotland with Omied and my little sister, Hanae. We absolutely loved it, and the trip left us wanting more and talking about visiting again some day soon. Here's a little video from our adventures there. And if you're planning a trip to Scotland, here's the Scotland travel guide I shared from our trip, with all the deets on what to do and where to eat.

Aloha from Kauai! I'm on vacation in the beautiful Garden Island this week and created this easy breezy Hawaiian vacay look in partnership with Foster Grant sunglasses. They have so many on-trend sunglasses and they're all super affordably priced. Color-tinted aviators are really popular and perfect for a tropical vacation, so I wanted to put together an outfit around these pink-tinted sunnies. I thought the fun pom-poms on this off the shoulder swimsuit (that I wore as a top), and these pretty pink accessories (including a necklace made by my talented friend and co-worker!) complimented my new Foster Grant sunglasses perfectly. I actually picked up a bunch of different sunglasses from Foster Grant sunglasses and I've been wearing all the different styles this whole trip. They're perfect for a beach vacay because they're really cute sunglasses, but because of the price I'm not going to freak out if they get caked in salty seawater (like they did yesterday while we were out on a boat ride along the Na Pali Coast) or if I accidentally drop them while on a rocky hike (again, like I did a couple days ago while we were hiking the Kalalau Trail).

I feel like lately I've been a little uninspired by my sunglasses—I found myself constantly reaching for the same pair of aviators. But having this new collection of different Foster Grant sunglasses has added some pep to my sunnies game! Honestly, my biggest issue with sunglasses is finding ones that are not just cute, but have 100% UVA-UVB protection—gotta protect your peepers! So I was really excited to find out that Foster Grant sunglasses do provide that protection. They sell more sunglasses than any other brand in the country, and for good reason. I can't get over how fashion-forward all their shades are, and the price point can't be beat. I've been wearing a different pair of Foster Grant sunnies every day on my vacation, changing them up with my outfit or activity we're doing that day, and I still have a few other styles I can't wait to wear. If you want some new sunnies fro summer too, be sure to use the code Foster20 to receive 20% through 8/30/17.

Sunday Funday

Flamingos make everything more fun, amirite? Last weekend before I headed out on a biz trip to Canada Omied and I had a little Sunday Funday date day in the city together. I'd been dying to check out a new Cuban place in the Mission, which is officially the most 'grammed new place in SF ever, thanks to its beautiful interior decor, scrumptious cubanos, and of course, adorable flamingo wall. I wanted to put together an easy, breezy look and also try out the new Clarins 3-Dot Liner. The tip of the eyeliner pen is actually three pronged dots, which helps you create a bold line and really get in between all of your lashes. I used this liner for a tiny bit of a wing flicked upwards, and I really liked how pigmented and bold the line ended up being. Pull the look all together with a super swingy/flowy top and killer heels and you've got yourself a Sunday Funday date look!

During this last quick trip to Paris, I wondered if the City of Lights might be a little less magical now that I've had the chance to visit it a few times. Guess what? It wasn't. Turns out my heart still goes aflutter walking around this beautiful city, admiring its stunning architecture and soaking up its culture.

I'm currently en route to a destination only slightly less glamorous than Paris...Waterloo, Canada. ;) I'll be running a big event there, and then it's time for a little vacation somewhere tropical!
